A phone.

I was thinking about getting a phone for the place. A phone system for my home. It may sound strange that I don’t have one but, I haven’t had a home phone for years. Cell phone has always done very well. A cell works at home or anywhere else you might want to go. I have been considering picking up a phone for home now, though. It might be easier to have one and you can often just run it through your pc for little to no charge.
If I did, I would most likely get a digital phone. I don’t know much about them other than they sound a heck of a lot better than a regular phone. I like a lot of the features you can get with them now too. A digital wireless phone might be a good thing to have, that way when you got home you could even just forward all your cell cals to the home phone. I guess that would work both ways, when you are out you could forward calls to your cell that way you wouldn’t miss anything.
I said you wouldn’t miss anything, I didn’t say you couldn’t still ignore all those people you didn’t want to talk to anyway. I think everyone I know screens their calls anymore. It is just not worth the trouble, about the time you just answer, some idiot is trying to sell you something in the middle of dinner.
I learned my lesson a long time ago. Anymore if I don’t know the number then they can leave a message. And if it’s important they will, then I may give them a call back. I may not. Besides here you get charged when you answer or when you make a call so if I am paying for it then I am certainly going to want to be in control of it. Therefore, call screening. You can do the same with a digital home phone as I understand it, which would work out well, as long as it was one of those cordless phones.
