Phone security?

I guess I would class myself currently as one of many mobile phone buyers, although as I mentioned previously I am thinking about going landlocked for a phone. I guess that should be ‘going for a land line’. I still kind of like the idea, it would probably be cheaper in the long run. Cell phones charge you whether you get a call or give a call. Not really fair actually. I like the way they did it when I was overseas, there you were only charged when you made calls; that way if someone called you they paid for their own minutes. That is much nicer than the way they do it in the states. I think I heard that they had changed over there though, so that they were doing it more like the charging systems in the states. I certainly hope not, none of my friends have complained so chances are good they haven’t changed their charging plans.

The thing that would make a good business phone though is one of the smart phones, which I have also mentioned once or twice before. I guess I should start looking into ones beside the iPhone, that is considered a smart phone I believe, but the appeal just hasn’t been there. However, for a business phone there might be more I need to look into than what I have. I think for a personal non-business phone the iPhone is the best bet in my opinion but for a business phone I don’t know. I really haven’t thought about it, I know they are supposed to be able to do a lot of business activities and they are supposed to have security when doing them but I have no idea of what their security is like. Apple itself has a pretty bad reputation in regards to actually being secure. Just because people don’t hit them as much doesn’t mean they are more secure. So, I am not sure about doing banking or business or things like that on the iPhone.

The cell

I was just thinking that the way we communicate has really changed in just the last few years. Can you imagine not having your cell phone? I know there are people out there who could probably do it without a problem, but I bet they are getting fewer and fewer in their numbers. I am pretty much attached to mine now and have been for several years.

Cell phones are becoming more integral to our lives every day. Each day brings new changes to what our cell phones can do and to what they might possibly be able to do. They are becoming more and more just like small personal computers. We can already watch TV or movies on them and network from them, outside of the voice to voice communication. They also allow us to browse the internet and remain connected almost anywhere we wish to, and are able to go. Plus, even better, they also allow us to screen those who wish an audience with us. The phones all have a built in answering service for those important calls we are unable or not desiring to take when they originally come in.

After we have used our phone for a while we can even sell it back to places like Mazumamobile and get some return on our original purchase. Even more so if we got the phone for free. You can also just donate the old ones at various places also. Whatever you do with it you can be sure that you are probably going to want to upgrade fairly soon because the phone, like computers, are advancing very rapidly. Almost, every week the phones are able to do something new or something old better than they could before. Remember to clear all the data from your old phone before you do anything with it, though! And, yes, the whole point here is because I am thinking about getting a new phone.

A phone.

I was thinking about getting a phone for the place. A phone system for my home. It may sound strange that I don’t have one but, I haven’t had a home phone for years. Cell phone has always done very well. A cell works at home or anywhere else you might want to go. I have been considering picking up a phone for home now, though. It might be easier to have one and you can often just run it through your pc for little to no charge.

If I did, I would most likely get a digital phone. I don’t know much about them other than they sound a heck of a lot better than a regular phone. I like a lot of the features you can get with them now too. A digital wireless phone might be a good thing to have, that way when you got home you could even just forward all your cell cals to the home phone. I guess that would work both ways, when you are out you could forward calls to your cell that way you wouldn’t miss anything.

I said you wouldn’t miss anything, I didn’t say you couldn’t still ignore all those people you didn’t want to talk to anyway. I think everyone I know screens their calls anymore. It is just not worth the trouble, about the time you just answer, some idiot is trying to sell you something in the middle of dinner.

I learned my lesson a long time ago. Anymore if I don’t know the number then they can leave a message. And if it’s important they will, then I may give them a call back. I may not. Besides here you get charged when you answer or when you make a call so if I am paying for it then I am certainly going to want to be in control of it. Therefore, call screening. You can do the same with a digital home phone as I understand it, which would work out well, as long as it was one of those cordless phones.
