Bathroom pondering.

So, sort of following on from last night. Bathrooms. The little room where you go when you feel sick, like with food poisoning. What I’m getting at here is the bathroom I have. It is not bad but it almost looks like they just took a new bathtub and fixtures and then threw a new one over it. It almost seems like they just took a hollowed out bathroom setting and slid it over the old stuff there. It’s not that it looks bad, it actually looks good, but it doesn’t quite set right. I think whoever did it didn’t do that great of job. Either it is what I think it is or it just isn’t very well built, I am not sure. You step on it and it drops down a bit. It doesn’t feel solid. It is but it doesn’t feel like it.

This is all coming from the fact that I spent quite a bit of time in the bathroom last night and I was wondering about different styles. Really, your mind tends to wander even when you are in pain, especially if it is a constant. At least mine does. I was trying to figure out what would look best in there. I didn’t want mirrors, other than over the sink, for the obvious reasons. I was thinking I needed a new towel rack and maybe a new bathroom. I really like the baths or showers with the glass doors. They work so much better. Shower curtains, for some reason don’t like me. They attack. They do, trust me. Either they attack or they just like bothering me. Getting in the way and cutting into the available space in the shower area.

I was thinking that a good, ideal bathroom would have glass shower doors not curtains. That and it would make the place feel comfortable for those times when you are stuck in there while your body recovers itself from food poisoning or any other type of poisoning.

Pains of eating out.

Ouch. Food poisoning is not fun. And no it wasn’t my cooking. I know better than to eat at a chain store, because for some reason it always kills me in the end. Some fast food is pretty good, though. I have no idea why their food affects me that way but it has done it every time so far. I can honestly say that this will be the last time because it is really unpleasant to sit on the porcelain throne for an hour or so in the evening. It tends to mess up your evening.

Hopefully I won’t have to go back tonight, I have other things I want to be doing other than sitting there while my insides come out. I can feel the stomach gurgling a bit at the moment. I am going to think happy thoughts and hope for the best. I really don’t want to take medicine at the moment, I much prefer to do without medicine if at all possible. Most medicine really only treats the symptoms and not the real cause. It also will give you other symptoms that you have to then take a different medicine to treat. It’s a vicious cycle once you get trapped into it. Ouch. Deep breath, sit back relax a bit.

You really never know what will bite you back, but you would think that with the FDA attempting to say that our food is safe, that it wouldn’t happen as often as it does. Food bites back a lot, which is just not good. If you think about it the FDA doesn’t really seem to have much power and they were just recently saying that the majority of plants don’t get inspected unless there is a complaint. It doesn’t work as well as I would like it to, but then I am biased at the moment.

I think I may hold my words for just a bit and go get rid of some other stuff. Not pleasant, sorry, but then not pleasant for me either.
