Homework, I don’t believe we ever really get away from it. It is not just for school anymore. I am not sure if it was ever just for school. You have homework from school, of course, but you also have homework from work and if you are interested in something I bet you have homework from that as well.

Homework, itself is not really bad. I think the term has negative connotations though, bad vibes from when we were in school and homework was a thing of horror and evil that cut into our time to play and our, our time. Really, after spending hours in school not being able to be kids we were then supposed to spend time at home doing stuff that did at school. It was truly just another form of torture we had to suffer through for some unknown reason. After school I was not interested in doing any homework, who would have been? You are a kid, you want to get your play time in before you have to go to school. All through school it never really got better, there was always something that would be better to be doing. Especially in college when you had to take certain classes where you already knew the stuff but you still were required to take them because some anonymous a-hole had decided it was required for the degree and it didn’t matter if you could teach it better than the instructor you still had to sit through it so they could make a little check on a piece of paper and feel important. Yes, I am a bit bitter about the whole school thing.

Keep in mind though that I love learning and when doing homework that is of my making or that just makes sense I have absolutely no problem with it. If you are doing what you want, it makes all the difference, right? After a while you get to the point where you just put up with any homework because you realize that it is just step on the way to whatever goal you are trying to achieve. That homework in school when you had no choice about going, that’s torture though.

I have been deep in the books the last couple of days. Pretty much not much fun! Homework is not always as fun as people say it is. I’ve been up since about 5 am this morning and I am about bushed. My mind has slipped into neutral and gotten stuck there. That’s ok, I will be alright as soon as I pass out.

Tomorrow, luckily and hopefully, will be a much better. It should, at least be more relaxing, give me time to actually get my thoughts in order. No, you’re right, that probably won’t take all that long.

I’ve been sitting at a computer pretty much all day today keeping myself preoccupied with homework and trying to figure problems out. I am quite ready to kick the problems out now, screw trying to figure them out. I think I need a break, short one, just a few hours for a bit of sleep. I think I’ve had about seven hours in the last few days. I probably need to catch up on some of it.

Have to get ready for tomorrow before I can do that, though. I wonder how many people actually set things up for their next day the night before. I don’t always do it but I do find that it tends to make the day go easier, of course if I don’t sleep and end up passing out the day should go by pretty quick too.

I was trying to think of what would be good to write about tomorrow. I saw a couple of interesting articles today in passing, well, interesting headlines anyway. I didn’t actually have a chance to read the articles. Hmm, that sounds like a good idea too, take some time and catch up on other reading. For right now though, I am going to go catch up on my sleep.

Today was kind of relaxing. Beautiful day, lazy day. I really should have gotten out somewhere today, but it is the first weekend in a while I have had some peace and quiet. Although, yesterday doesn’t count because of the party, but today was fairly relaxing. Other than the homework, which probably explains why I didn’t go out today. I was very tempted though, the day was just that nice!

I got to sleep late this morning and then I had to make breakfast, but it was worth the trouble. Sat down with it and a cup of coffee and enjoyed the sun shining in. I almost think Spring could be here, after more than seven months of cold. It would be great but not going to bet on it yet. It has been nice a few times already only to hail and snow the next day. Go to bed nice and comfortable and wake up freezing and wondering where all the warmth went. Really looking forward to full Spring!

Did the homework stuff today but wasn’t really into it. I took a look at a few things online and even flipped through the available stations for a bit in procrastination. I finally broke down and did it, though. Under protestation. Don’t really have anybody to protest to but myself, so I did, a lot. However, the procrastination worked for a while because while it kept me from doing any homework for a bit it also kept me from going out. I think I got the worst part of the deal there.

Just kind of a lazy day, which is what I still feel. No, not like a day, just lazy. I am actually thinking about taking a nap, or maybe I will actually go to bed early. Naw, probably not.
