Phone security?

I guess I would class myself currently as one of many mobile phone buyers, although as I mentioned previously I am thinking about going landlocked for a phone. I guess that should be ‘going for a land line’. I still kind of like the idea, it would probably be cheaper in the long run. Cell phones charge you whether you get a call or give a call. Not really fair actually. I like the way they did it when I was overseas, there you were only charged when you made calls; that way if someone called you they paid for their own minutes. That is much nicer than the way they do it in the states. I think I heard that they had changed over there though, so that they were doing it more like the charging systems in the states. I certainly hope not, none of my friends have complained so chances are good they haven’t changed their charging plans.

The thing that would make a good business phone though is one of the smart phones, which I have also mentioned once or twice before. I guess I should start looking into ones beside the iPhone, that is considered a smart phone I believe, but the appeal just hasn’t been there. However, for a business phone there might be more I need to look into than what I have. I think for a personal non-business phone the iPhone is the best bet in my opinion but for a business phone I don’t know. I really haven’t thought about it, I know they are supposed to be able to do a lot of business activities and they are supposed to have security when doing them but I have no idea of what their security is like. Apple itself has a pretty bad reputation in regards to actually being secure. Just because people don’t hit them as much doesn’t mean they are more secure. So, I am not sure about doing banking or business or things like that on the iPhone.
